Kudumbam has a 35 acre farm called Kolunji Ecological Farm at Odugampatti, Keeranur in Pudukkottai district. In the farm we previously had around 3000 trees of 150 species. In the aftermath of the 2018 Gaja cyclone we lost many of the trees but we have since then planted more tree saplings on the farm which are now growing to re-establish the beauty of the farm.

We have a nursery unit of over 3000 saplings of various species. Saplings available at the farm include: fruit tree varieties, vegetable tree varieties, timber tree varieties, herbal plant varieties, vegetable plants, flowering plants, ornamental plants, medicinal plants, shade plants, fodder and shade tree varieties etc. The various tree saplings from the nursery unit is distributed by us to school children to plant in their school premises or in their home garden, in college premises, and to the farmers to plant it in their field and in common forest areas. We sell the nursery units saplings and the generated income will be utilized for the development of the farm. We have a nursery unit not only at the Kolunji farm but also in our Keeranur field office and Mathur training center.
